Aimie Atkinson is an English actor, singer, dancer, and songwriter. She played Katherine Howard in the 2019 West End Production of Six the Musical, beginning on 17 January 2019. She left the show on 13 October 2019, and her role was taken over by Vicki Manser.
Aimie played the same role in the 2018 UK Tour from 11 July to 30 December 2018, and in the Original Arts Theatre Production from 18 December 2017 to 22 January 2018. She additionally reprised her role in 2022 for the upcoming proshot of the original West End cast.
Aimie wasn't originally supposed to leave the 2019 West End Production, her departure was announced just a few weeks before.
If Aimie could play any other queen, she would want to play Catherine of Aragon or Anne Boleyn.
Aimie's favourite onstage mishap was when Jarnéia Richard-Noel strutted on stage with a piece of toilet paper hanging off of her boot, which Millie O'Connell pulled off during No Way. After this, Millie whispered to Amy Shaw, "It's wet", which caused both of them to laugh.
At Aimie's solo concert at The Other Palace, three other actresses who have played Katherine Howard joined the performance: Samantha Pauly, Jodie Steele, and Annabel Marlow.
