Bryony Duncan is an English actor, singer, and dancer. She was a universal swing in both the 2019-21 West End Production and the 2021-22 UK Tour of Six the Musical, beginning on 12 June 2021. She left the show on 14 November 2021, playing her final show as Jane Seymour.
Bryony was previously a swing in the first Bliss Cruise Production[1] from 8 September 2019 to January 2020. She later played Katherine Howard from January to 4 March 2020, where her role was taken over by Rebecca Wickes.

- Before getting into musical theatre, Bryony started out with dancing.
- She first started dancing in ballroom, Latin, and freestyle dancing.[4]
- Bryony has the same birthday as Christina Modestou.
- Bryony auditioned for Anne Boleyn, Jane Seymour, and Katherine Howard, which happen to be the roles that she covered on Bliss.[4]
- One of Bryony's favourite rehearsal memories is when they first started rehearsing and Candace Furbert started with the "divorced" hand motion, and there was a buzz of excitement going around the room.[4]
- Bryony's favourite performance memories were whenever she and Natalie Pilkington made a debut, when the main cast had their first official show, and when Toby Marlow came onboard and watched them perform.[4]
- Bryony's favourite song to perform is Don't Lose Ur Head.[4]
- However, her favourite song to sing is Heart of Stone.[5]
- Bryony originally auditioned for the West End production.
- Bryony made her swing debut in the show as Anne Boleyn.
- She didn't know that she was going to make her debut until the day of the performance.
- Bryony's favourite dance number from the show is Don't Lose Ur Head, but she also said it was the hardest number for the cast to learn.
- Bryony's favourite costume from the show is her swing costume.
- One of Bryony's most memorable moments from being in the show was when during a show, an audience member sat in the front row with a Chucky doll and she couldn't stop looking at it throughout the show.
- Bryony's favourite thing about Six is how the show allows you to be yourself.
- Bryony's favourite moment in the show is the very end of the acoustic version of Six right before the song begins.
- Bryony's favourite lines from the show are "I mean, we've literally been doing it for the past hour, so..."[5] and "I can't even begin to think of how I'm going to compete with you all... oh wait, like this", which are said by Jane Seymour and Katherine Howard respectively.
- Bryony's favourite personal mishap from her time in the show is when during Katherine Howard's monologue before All You Wanna Do, she said "...and your songs...really help to complete that" instead of saying "...really help to convey that".
- Another favourite mishap of Bryony's is when she went to the wrong side of the stage when playing one of her first covers for the first time.
- Other mishaps she remembers include microphones being dropped, an extractor fan going off in the middle of a show while she was covering Katherine Howard, and line mishaps such as when she stuttered on the word 'convey' in the line "...really help to convey that".[4]
- If Bryony could play any other queen, she would want to play Catherine Parr.[4]
- She also said that if she could have any other queen's costume from the show, she would want Catherine Parr's.
- Bryony's favourite part about ship life was waking up in a different place and meeting people from different places, while the worst part about living on a ship to her was homesickness.[4][5]
- Bryony's personal queenspiration is Demi Lovato.[5]
- Bryony sang as Anne Boleyn in the Worldwide Six video.
- Bryony performed as Katherine Howard at West End Live 2021.
- Bryony is the second swing to be promoted to the role of principal Katherine Howard after the original actress left, the first being Vicki Manser.
- Bryony is the first and only official principal actress in the history of Six to have covered another queen while performing as a principal. Although she had been promoted to the role of principal Katherine Howard, she still covered Anne Boleyn; however, she never performed the role while she was a principal actress.
- Some of Bryony's dream roles include Elphaba Thropp in Wicked, Éponine Thénardier or Fantine in Les Misérables, any role in Heathers, Molly Jensen in Ghost, and Sophie Sheridan in Mamma Mia![5]
- Bryony's dream job outside of performing is something related to animals, such as a zoologist.[5]
- Bryony's favourite Disney movie is The Lion King.
- Bryony's favourite ice cream flavour is strawberry, but if she had sorbet, she would choose either mango or raspberry.[5]

- She was also featured in the 16th episode of the podcast, which was a reunion episode of the first Bliss Cruise cast.

- On 1 August 2021, Bryony played Katherine Howard alongside Zara MacIntosh, Cherelle Jay, Hana Stewart, Liv Alexander, and Collette Guitart in the first all-alternate show in Six's history.[6]
- In 2022, Bryony was nominated for the Best Performance by an Understudy/Alternate in Any Play or Musical award at the BroadwayWorld UK/West End Awards for her role in Les Misérables.
