Caitlin Tipping is a Scottish actor, singer, and dancer. She is currently playing Jane Seymour in the 2023-25 West End Production of Six the Musical, beginning on 10 September 2024. She played the same role in the 2021-22 UK Tour from 8 June 2021 to 9 March 2022, where her role was taken over by Casey Al-Shaqsy
Caitlin originally played the same role in the first Bliss Cruise Production[1] from 6 September 2019 to 4 March 2020, where her role was taken over by Gabriella Stylianou-Burns. She temporarily left the show from 21 January to 16 February 2020, where her role was taken over by Natalie Pilkington.
Caitlin's favourite freestyle moment in the show is the Megasix.
Caitlin's favourite line in the show is "Really, really old-school," which is said by Jane Seymour.[2]
Caitlin's favourite part about her costume is that she is the only one who has a dress and that the skirt is multicoloured.[2]
Caitlin's funniest memory from Six was when in week two of rehearsals, the cast was learning Get Down, and when they had already been in heels for around eight hours, they learned the last bit of choreography, which led to them sitting on the steps on the verge of a supposed "mental breakdown" due to having to be in heels all day.
One of Caitlin's favourite on-stage mishaps was when she messed up one of her opening lines. Instead of saying, "We've got a serious score to settle," she said "We've got a serious problem to solve out."[2]
Other favourites included when the microphones cut out, when her shoe broke, and when the swiping sound effects in the Tinder scene following Haus of Holbein didn't work.[2]
Caitlin's favourite part about working in a cruise cast was being able to travel the world and see new places, as well as not paying rent and getting free food on the ship.[2]
If Caitlin could play any other queen, she would want to play Katherine Howard.
