Chiara Assetta is an Italian-Australian actor, singer, and dancer. She was a swing and the dance captain in the 2024-25 Australian Tour of Six the Musical, beginning on 2 August 2024. She played the same role in the 2021-23 Australian Tour, from 19 December 2021 to 19 February 2023. She left the show 4 May 2025, playing her final show as Catherine Parr.

Personal Life[]
Chiara is the sister of Actor Daniel Assetta, who is currently in & Juliet on Broadway. In May of 2012, Chiara started dating Matt Stewart; the couple have been dating for 9 years.[2] They became engaged in October 2022[3] and were married on 12 April, 2024.[4]

Trivia[]
- Chiara was in the same production of Mamma Mia! and Zombie! The Musical as Chelsea Dawson.
- Chiara was in the same production of West Side Story as Kimberley Hodgson.
- Chiara was intended to be a swing in the Australian Tour of Everybody's Talking About Jamie; however, the production was postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[5]
- Chiara is the second alternate to wear two different alternate costumes: she wore the orange costume in the 2021-23 Australian Tour, and the silver costume in the 2024-25 Australian Tour.
- Chiara is also the first person to wear the silver alternate costume outside of the UK.
- In 2019 and 2020, Chiara starred alongside her brother Daniel in a cabaret titled Siblingship, which followed the childhoods of the two siblings.[6][7]
