Christina of Denmark was a Danish princess. She was mentioned in the Tinder parody scene of Six the Musical as a possible choice as the fourth wife of Henry VIII. On stage, Christina is played by the same actress who plays Catherine Parr.
Trivia[]
- At the age of sixteen, Christina openly opposed to marrying Henry VIII, as he had already developed a reputation around Europe for the fates of his wives: Henry divorced his first wife, Catherine of Aragon (who was Christina's great aunt), and had his second, Anne Boleyn, beheaded. Christina supposedly said, "If I had two heads, one should be at the King of England's disposal".
