Courtney Stapleton is an English actor, singer, dancer, photographer, and songwriter. She was an alternate in the 2019 West End Production of Six the Musical, beginning on 17 January 2019. She left the show on 13 October 2019, playing her final show as Jane Seymour on 12 October 2019.

  • Courtney made her debut in the show as Catherine Parr.
  • The only queen Courtney has gone on for mid-show is Catherine of Aragon [6].
  • Courtney was originally first cover Aragon and Parr; however, in April 2019, she switched a role with Grace Mouat, becoming first cover Seymour instead.[7][8][9]
  • At some point in early 2020, Courtney briefly returned to the show in the West End production, although she was only on standby for a day.

  • In 2022, Courtney was nominated for the Best Leading Performer in a New Production of a Musical award at the BroadwayWorld UK/West End Awards for her role in Beauty and the Beast. However, her nomination was mistakenly counted under the Best Leading Performer in a New Production of a Play section.
  • Courtney performed her final show as Jane Seymour on 12 October 2019, exactly 482 years after Jane's son, Edward VI, was born.
