Danielle Steers

Danielle Steers is an English actress, singer, dancer, and songwriter. She played Catherine Parr in the 2019-21 West End Production of Six the Musical, beginning on 15 October 2019.^[1] She left the show on 14 November 2021, and her role was taken over by Meesha Turner.^[2]^[3]

Danielle temporarily left the show from 6 July to 1 August 2022 due to medical reasons. During that time, Athena Collins took over her role.

Personal Life[]

Danielle is engaged to actor Stephen Webb, and had her first son in October 2023.^[4]^[5]

Danielle was in the same production of The Bodyguard as Genesis Lynea.
Danielle was in the same production of Bat Out of Hell as Vicki Manser, Courtney Stapleton, Collette Guitart, and Rhianne-Louise McCaulsky.
Danielle was in the same production of Sweet Charity as Lauren Drew.
- Coincidentally they booked Six at the same time, and they saw the show together for the first time a few weeks before they started rehearsals for the West End and 2019-2020 UK tour productions respectively.
Danielle was in the same production of Godspell as Jodie Steele.
Danielle is in the same production of The Cher Show as Millie O'Connell.
Danielle was housemates with Maddison Firth.^[6]^[7]^[8]
Danielle was the oldest principal actress to play Catherine Parr, being 28 years old at the time of her debut but by 2024 she has been beaten out by Nikolett Gallusz who is also the oldest actress as of 2024 to play a role in Six
Danielle's favorite line is, "Yeah, there was this one really cute time where I had a daughter and he chopped my head off," which is said by Anne Boleyn.^[9]
If Danielle could play any other role in the show, she would play Catherine of Aragon.
Danielle co-owns a candle business with Maddison Firth called Six Scents Candles.
In November 2020, Danielle covered Survivor by Destiny's Child with Amelia Walker, Maiya Quansah-Breed, Athena Collins, and Vidya Makan.^[10]
On 27 January 2021, Danielle released a Jim Steinman cover album titled The Future Ain't What It Used to Be, featuring nine songs written by Jim Steinman.^[11]^[12]
In 2022, Danielle was nominated for the Best Leading Performer in a New Production of a Musical award at the BroadwayWorld UK/West End Awards for her role in The Cher Show.
