Hyena is often referred to as the Korean Idina Menzel by theatre fans due to the fact that she has shared many roles with the actress. These include Elsa in the Frozen franchise, Nancy Tremaine in the movie Disenchanted, Elphaba in Wicked, and Elizabeth Vaughan in If/Then.
Hyena is a professor in the Musical Department at Chungwoon University.
