Jessica Niles is an English actor, singer, and dancer. She played Anna of Cleves in the 2022-23 UK Tour of Six the Musical, beginning on 24 May 2022. She left the show on 23 April 2023, and her role was taken over by Kenedy Small.
Jessica also played the same role in the English leg of the South Korean Production from 10 to 26 March 2023.
She originally played the role in the first Breakaway Cruise Production[1] from 17 November 2019 to 11 March 2020, and the second Breakaway Cruise Production[2], from 28 September 2021 to 1 March 2022[3], where her role was taken over by Kennedy Carstens.
During auditions, Jessica was originally seen for Catherine of Aragon, Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, and Catherine Parr. She then dropped Jane Seymour, and by the final round was being seen for Anna of Cleves and Catherine Parr. [6]
Jessica's favourite costume is Elizabeth Walker's alternate costume for Katherine Howard. Her favorite principal costumes are Catherine of Aragon and Anne Boleyn’s.
Jessica's favourite lines are any of Anna of Cleves' one-liners.
Jessica's most embarrassing memory from Six is when Elizabeth Walker and Liv Alexander were watching a show and Jessica was too busy "getting so hyped with them" that she forgot to sing "Too bad I don't agree" during the Megasix.
Jessica has said that if she could play any other queen, she would want to play Anne Boleyn or Catherine Parr.
If Jessica could be an alternate for any three roles, she would want to cover Catherine of Aragon, Anne Boleyn, and Catherine Parr.
If Jessica could change Anna of Cleves' costume to another colour, she would change it to blue.
Some of Jessica's dream roles include Shenzi and Nala in The Lion King, Dorothy Gale in The Wiz, Celie in The Color Purple, and any of the Schuyler sisters in Hamilton. [6]
Coincidentally, in both the second Breakaway Cruise Production and the fourth UK Tour, Jessica's role was taken over by people named Kennedy (Kennedy Carstens and Kenedy Small).
