Lauren Ann Byrne is an English actress, singer, dancer, and songwriter. She played Jane Seymour in the 2019-20 UK Tour of Six the Musical, beginning on 24 October 2019. She left the show on 16 March 2020, and her role was taken over by Caitlin Tipping.
Her friends told her that she would book Jane Seymour.
She had never listened to the show before she auditioned.
If Lauren could play any other queen, she would want to play Anne Boleyn or Catherine Parr.[5]
Lauren's favourite UK Tour venue was Guildford.
Lauren's favourite on-stage mishaps were when Maddison Bulleyment fell down the stairs at the end of Don't Lose Ur Head, when she accidentally began to repeat one of Lauren Drew's lines and forgot her own line, and when Jodie Steele accidentally sang "Serious, large, supreme head of the church of England" instead of "Tall, large Henry VIII..." during All You Wanna Do at the sing-along performance.[5]
According to Lauren, the most difficult moment in the show is All You Wanna Do because "all the choruses are really similar and just slightly different every time."
Due to Lauren being away for an event with her band, Natalie Paris filled in for her as Jane Seymour for the UK Tour production's Britain's Classroom Heroes performance.
Six is Lauren's favourite show that she has been in.
Lauren's dream role was Miss Honey in Matilda, which she played between 13 September 2022 and 10 September 2023.
Lauren's favourite cast album is Waitress.
Lauren's go-to audition songs are My Man from Funny Girl, Heaven on Their Minds from Jesus Christ Superstar, and In Short from Edges.[5]
