Mallory Maedke is an American actor, singer, and dancer. She was an alternate, the dance captain, and the assistant choreographer in the 2021-22 Broadway Production of Six the Musical, beginning on 17 September 2021. She left the show on 4 December 2022, playing her final show as Jane Seymour on 9 November 2022.[1]

Mallory played the same role in the 2020 Broadway Previews from 13 February to 11 March 2020, and in the Pre-Broadway Tour from 14 May to 22 December 2019. From 29 November to 22 December 2019, she took over the role of Jane Seymour.

Mallory is currently married to fellow performer Herb Porter; the couple started dating on 15 March 2020,[2]were engaged on 15 March 2022,[3] and were wed on 23 September 2023.[4]

  • Mallory attended Columbia College Chicago with Courtney Mack and Megan Leung.
  • Mallory was in the same production of Seussical as Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert and Samantha Pauly.
  • In 2015, Mallory performed as a back-up vocalist for Kristin Chenoweth at the Chicago Theater.
  • Mallory sang Stone Cold by Demi Lovato for her audition.[5]
  • Mallory received callbacks for every queen except for Anne Boleyn.
    • She later made her debut in the show as Anne Boleyn.
  • Mallory is the only actor in the North American productions of Six to officially cover every Queen.
  • Mallory's favourite lyric from the show is "When I get bored, I go to court" from Get Down.[6]
  • Mallory's favourite queen to play is Jane Seymour, but she also enjoys playing Anne Boleyn.[7]

  • Mallory's favourite part about being in Six is being with Nicole Kyoung-Mi Lambert and Courtney Mack, who are her best friends.[7]
  • Mallory’s favourite onstage mishap is when she was on for Catherine of Aragon and she forgot to stand up after the lines, “I'm not going away/There's no way” in No Way, so she stayed there for almost the rest of the song.
  • The best part of being an alternate, in Mallory's opinion, is singing all of the songs and getting to wear the principal costumes.[7]
  • The most challenging part about being an alternate, in Mallory's opinion, is remembering where she is supposed to stand.[7]
  • Mallory's personal 'queenspirations' for each of the queens are Beyoncé and Jennifer Lopez for Catherine of Aragon, Miley Cyrus, Avril Lavigne and Disney rock era Demi Lovato for Anne Boleyn, Adele, Celine Dion and Demi Lovato's ballads for Jane Seymour, Rihanna, Lady Gaga and Lizzo for Anna of Cleves, Britney Spears and Ariana Grande for Katherine Howard, and Alicia Keys, Beyoncé and Kelly Clarkson's album Thankful for Catherine Parr.[8]
  • If Mallory could be in a different production of Six, she would choose the West End cast, then she'd go onto the tour cast and then go on one of the cruises.[7]
  • Mallory performed as Jane Seymour at the Broadway in Chicago Concert on 12 August 2019.[9]
  • Mallory performed as Jane Seymour during Six's performance at the 75th Tony Awards.
    • Whilst acknowledging Mallory as a dance captain and alternate after their performance, host Ariana DeBose revealed that Mallory was put into the performance only 12 hours prior.[10]
