Migdalia Van Der Hoven is a Mexican drummer, percussionist, and musician. She is a dep for the West End and UK Tour productions of Six the Musical as Maria, the drummer, beginning on 29 July 2023. She played her first West End show on 19 July 2023.[2][3]
She was previously in the band of the 2022-23 UK Tour production, beginning on 25 March 2022.[4] On 5 April 2022, she made her official debut.[5] She left the production on 28 July 2023.
Personal Life[]
Migdalia was raised in Mexico. She attended Berklee College of Music in the USA, where she met her husband. They later lived in the UK and Los Angeles.[6][7] Migdalia is a mother of two girls.

- Migdalia speaks fluent Spanish.
- Migdalia has an EP called Girl Facing South.[8]
- Migdalia also graduated in Business Adminitration and Marketing from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education.[1]
- Migdalia is the first female Mexican drummer to perform at the Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club, Cornbury Festival, Pizza Express Jazz Club, and the EFG London Jazz Festival.[1]
- Migdalia is an 2022 Mujer Tec Award winner in the art and cultural management category.[1]
