History[]
"Aragon" Tour (2022-23)[]
On 4 August 2019, following the final performance of the Chicago engagement of the Pre-Broadway Tour, it was announced that Six would return to Chicago the following summer as a sit-down production. The limited engagement was scheduled to run at the Broadway Playhouse from 3 July to 25 October 2020.[1] Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the engagement was postponed twice: first from 24 November 2020 to 21 March 2021[2], and again from 5 October 2021 to 30 January 2022.[3]
On 29 June 2021, it was announced that the Chicago engagement would now serve as the launch for the first National Tour of Six, now beginning on 29 March 2022.[4] Additional stops throughout 2022 and 2023 in the U.S. were announced through the official Six U.S. Tour social media accounts. Casting was released on 14 February 2022, and featured Khaila Wilcoxon (Aragon), Storm Lever (Boleyn), Jasmine Forsberg (Seymour), Olivia Donalson (Cleves), Didi Romero (Howard), and Gabriela Carrillo (Parr), with Cassie Silva, Erin Ramirez, Kelsee Kimmel, and Kelly Denice Taylor as alternates.[5] Dubbed the "Aragon Tour", the tour began in previews on 29 March 2022, before officially opening on 12 April 2022 at the CIBC Theatre in Chicago, Illinois.[6]
On 5 December 2022, Bliss Cruise swing Marilyn Caserta joined as the production's first universal alternate.[7] Jasmine Forsberg (Seymour) departed the show on 29 April 2023[8], and Didi Romero (Howard) departed one week later on 7 May 2023.[9] Original UK/West End Jane Seymour Natalie Paris and original Broadway alternate Courtney Mack joined the tour on 9 May 2023, serving as their respective replacements.[10]
Throughout the tour's run, the cast performed at the Boston Christmas Tree Lighting[11], NPR's Tiny Desk[12], and on The Late Late Show with James Corden.[13] The tour closed on 30 July 2023, playing its final performance at the Keller Auditorium in Portland, Oregon.[14][15]
The tour's original principal cast is now serving as the principal cast for the 2023-25 Broadway Production.[16] The tour's set was later used for the Canadian Production.
"Boleyn" Tour (2022-present)[]
2022-24 Tour[]
