Six: Live on Opening Night (Original Broadway Cast Recording) is a live cast album for Six the Musical. It was recorded live on the opening night of the Broadway Production on 3 October 2021, and was released digitally on 6 May 2022. The album was later reissued on CD formats on 23 June 2023.
The album features the original Broadway cast members performing all 14 of the musical's numbers live, interspersed with 3 dialogue interludes from different scenes, and a re-arranged version of "Heart of Stone" with the production's four offstage alternates.
The recording is the first Original Broadway Cast Recording to be recorded live.[1] It debuted at number one on the Billboard Cast Album charts, and earned a nomination for Best Musical Theatre Album at the 2023 Grammy Awards.[2][3]
